A former sugar factory and distillery that operated in Guadeloupe until its closure in 1974. It is notable in the rum world for its rehoming of the pot still from Domaine de Courcelles, which it used to produce a legendary batch of 1972 vintage rhum de sucrerie.
A long lost rum distillery in Guadeloupe that operated as part of the Courcelles sugar factory. It began producing rum in 1931 and did so until 1964, after which its pot still was moved to Sainte-Marthe. It is the latter from which most Domaine de Courcelles rum has been bottled.
A company established in 2006 by Jean-Cedric Brot in order to acquire the the Poisson distillery in Guadeloupe and its Père Labat rum brand. The company is also part-owned by Séverin distillery boss, José Pirbakas.
