Foursquare 1998 10 Year Old
An incredible rarity, this is the first entry in the Exceptional Cask Selection series. Distilled in 1998, this is a lighter-profile column still only rum, setting it apart from later additions to the range which are the more familiar pot and column still single blends. Although labelled as having been drawn from cask #2807, there are actually a number of casks bottled within the 15,000 bottle run. All however were labelled with the same cask number, so it is unclear which cask the majority of the bottles were drawn from.
It would be six years before the next release in the series would be bottled.

R.L. Seale & Co
A family-owned rum company in Barbados that is currently run by Richard Seale. Founded in 1926, the company has consolidated many of Barbados' historic rum brands, including Doorly's, Old Brigand, and ESA Field. They are produced at its Foursquare distillery which it opened in 1995.
