This 1998 vintage Guadeloupe rum was distilled at Damoiseau and bottled in 2017 from two casks. They spend 9 years in the tropics and 10 in Europe.
A large distillery on the Grande-Terre island of the Guadeloupe archipelago, also often known as Damoiseau after its flagship rum brand. The distillery operates three column stills and produces both agricole rum as well as molasses-derived spirit during the months outside of cane-cutting season.
A collection of independently bottled rums, first introduced by La Maison du Whisky in 2016. The series focusses on rums that have been aged both tropically and continentally, itemising the duration each rum has spent in both locations on its labels.
A French company also known by the acronym, LMDW, founded in 1956 by Georges Benitah. It is now one of the largest spirits importers and distributors in Europe. Its has significant rum interests though its LM&V partnership with Velier in Italy and also produces several of its own brands.
