A distillery in Martinique that is located on the estate of the same name in Macouba. It has held Martinique's AOC accreditation for rhum agricole since 1991, producing rum from three local cane varieties for its world-renowned Rhum J.M brand.
Rhum J.M
A world-renowned brand of Martinique rum with origins dating back to 1845 when Jean-Marie Martin opened the Fonds-Préville distillery and began selling barrels with his initials on it, J.M. As of 2002 the label has been owned by GBH and is distributed globally by its Spiribam subsidiary.
Héritiers Crassous de Médeuil
A historic company in Martinique that is today a subsidiary of GBH following its acquisition of it in 2002. It was established in 1973 in order to manage the various business interests of Crassous de Médeuil family at their Fonds-Préville estate, including its distillery.
