Les Héritiers H. Clément

Les Héritiers H. Clément SA is a subsidiary of the Martinique-based French multinational, GBH. The company was originally established in 1974 to manage its distillery at Domaine de l'Acajou (now known as Habitation Clément) and its Clément rhum agricole brand. It was sold from family-ownership to Bernard Hayot in 1986.

The company still produces Clément rum, however the spirit is distilled elsewhere (originally at Simon and now at Fonds-Préville). Habitation Clément is now an art gallery space, ageing facility and the brand's visitor experience.
