Uitvlugt
A sugar factory in Guyana that operated a rum distillery until 1999. Pronounced [eye-flut], it was located on the west bank of the Demerara river near the Dutch-established town of the same name. The distillery operated a number of historic stills, many of which are still in operation at Diamond.
Ron de Jeremy
A rum brand formerly produced by the Finnish blender and bottler, One Eyed Spirits. It was launched in 2011 based on a pun of the name of its eponymous adult film star, however was discontinued following his legal troubles in 2020.
One Eyed Spirits
A spirits company, established in Finland in 2010 by Olli Hietalahti. It launched its Ron de Jeremy brand the following year, however withdrew the label in 2020 following its namesakes legal troubles. Its current flagship rum brand is called Come Hell or High Water, alongside Tom of Finland vodka.
