Carúpano

Carúpano is a brand of rum produced in Venezuela by Destilería Carúpano CA. Although the name Carúpano has appeared on rums produced at the Hacienda Altamira since the 19th century, the modern brand name was introduced in 1954 when Destilería Carúpano was established by the Morrison family in partnership with Alejandro Hernandez (owner of Pampero). The company is not a distiller, but blends and ages sourced spirit at Hacienda Altamira before bottling.

The brand's portfolio comprises a number of different expressions of ron añejo, including a number of limited edition vintage and single barrel releases alongside its proprietary 6- and 12-year-old age statements.
