El Dorado

El Dorado is the flagship rum brand of Demerara Distillers Ltd (DDL) in Guyana. It was introduced in 1992 with the debut of the now iconic 15-year-old blend. The rums are distilled at Diamond distillery, however Uitvlugt and Enmore were also contributors prior to their closure. The blends include a variety of different marques which are produced on a number of different still types, including DDL's famous "Heritage Stills."

The brand's core range comprises a range of expressions between 3- and 25-years-old. In addition, its Single Still collection offers examples of the legendary Enmore, Port Mourant and Versailles marques, produced on their associated wooden still types.
