Richland Rum

Richland Rum is a brand of American single estate rums produced in Georgia by the Richland Distilling Company. Founded by Erik and Karin Vonk in 1999, the company originally sold its rum as Vennebroeck Velvet before a request from Richland town mayor, Adolph McLendon, to help revitalise the town saw them open a new distillery there in 2008. The spirit made there was first released as Richland Rum in 2012.

The brand is available in five expressions of two different rum styles. Its aged rum is known as Old South Georgia Rum and is distilled at the original distillery in Richland, while its unaged Virgin Coastal Rum is distilled at a second facility in Brunswick.
