Ron Arecha

Ron Arecha is a Cuban rum brand that was introduced by José Arechabala SA in the 1960s after the government in Cuba nationalised the country's rum industry at the beginning of the decade. Unusually, the original design and branding or Ron Arecha was intended to mimic that of the Arechabala's former rivals, Bacardi.

After laying dormant for a period, the Ron Arecha label was revived by the state-owned Corporación Cuba Ron SA and production of the brand now takes place at its Ronera Santiago de Cuba.
