Corporación Cuba Ron

Corporación Cuba Ron SA (often shortened to Cubaron) is the state-owned rum company of Cuba. It was established in November 1993 in order to consolidate the various rum interests owned by the Cuban government following the nationalisation of the industry by Fidel Castro in 1959.

The company is headquartered in Havana and owns distilleries Mayabeque, Santiago de Cuba, Villa Clara and Matanzas provinces. It also has a broad portfolio of rum brands, the crown jewel of which is the Havana Club label which it co-owns with Pernod Ricard. Its other labels include Ron Cubay, Isla del Tesoro and Ron Perla del Norte, among many others.
