3 Badge Beverage Corporation

The 3 Badge Beverage Corporation was established in 2015 by August Sebastiani, a fourth generation vintner part of the long-established Sebastiani winemaking dynasty in California. The company was originally known as the The Other Guys and was was established in 2004 as the distributor and wholesaler for the wine brands of Don Sebastiani & Sons. Both were part of the Don Sebastiani Family of Companies owned by August's father, Don Sebastiani Sr.

In 2010 the company became independent, and the following year it branched out into spirits sales by establishing a new sub-division called 35 Maple Street. Its early brands were Uncle Val's gin and Masterton's rye whiskey, and its Kirk & Sweeney rum label debuted in 2012.

In 2015, Sebastiani rebranded the company as the 3 Badge Beverage Corporation, naming it after the old fire service badges of his family. The move coincided with their purchase of the Patten Street Firehouse where they served, which the City of Sonoma sold to Sebastiani that year. Moving all business operations there the following year, the company was renamed in order to reflect their ties to the building and its heritage. Its spirits division then became known as Mixology.
