Amrut Distilleries

Amrut Distilleries Pvt Ltd is an Indian liquor company, founded in 1948 by J.N. Radhakrishna Rao Jagdale. As of 1994 it has been organised as a subsidiary of the N.R. Jagdale Group, which also has interests in the pharmaceutical industries.

Although today Amrut Distilleries is best-known for its world-famous single malt brand, it has been producing rum for much longer and its labels have included Old Port, Two Indies and Red Star.
