Diageo is one of the biggest alcoholic beverage companies in the world, boasting brands across multiple drinks categories in multiple countries. It was established in 1997 through the merger of Guinness PLC and Grand Metropolitan.

The company's flagship rum brand is Captain Morgan, however its portfolio also includes Pampero, Ron Zacapa, Myers's, Bundaberg and Don Papa. It also owns distilleries in Australia, Jamaica and the US Virgin Isles.
