La Maison & Velier

La Maison & Velier (often referred to as LM&V) is a joint business venture established in 2016 by the LMDW Creations arm of La Maison du Whisky in France, and Velier in Italy. Both powerhouses of global spirits distribution, the company aimed to capitalise on the market share of each in order to better promote their combined portfolio of products and in-house brands.

Among its significant collected rum interests are the Spirit of Haiti collection of clairin, Caroni, a collaboration with National Rums of Jamaica, and the independent Habitation Velier and Rum of the World brands. The company is also the majority shareholder in the Port-au-Prince distillery in Haiti.
