Clairin Sajous

Sajous is a clairin brand that is marketed by La Maison & Velier. It is distilled at the Chelo distillery in Haiti, however the spirit had not been sold outside the country until discovered by Luca Gargano of Velier and Daniele Biondi in 2012. Gargano reached an agreement to export the product which was introduced alongside Casimir and Vaval in 2014.
The majority of Sajous is sold in its traditional, still-strength and unaged form, however a Vieux Sajous version was introduced in 2020.
