Clément

Clément is a highly respected brand of rhum agricole from Martinique. It was originally introduced in 1940 by the family of the same name in order to market the rum from their Domaine de l'Acajou distillery (now known as Habitation Clément). The distillery and brand were acquired by Bernard Hayot in 1986, and the label is still owned by his company GBH.

Having initially been contract-distilled at Simon distillery, production of Clément is now in-house again with distilling taking place at GBH's Fonds-Préville distillery (home of the Rhum J.M label). The brand's range is expansive and collects a number of rhum blanc, rhum vieux and rhum ambré expressions across its Classic, Bar & Cocktails and Prestige ranges.
