GBH

Groupe Bernard Hayot SAS (usually referred to as GBH) is a diverse French multinational based in Martinque. It was founded by Bernard Hayot in 1960 when he started his first business, a poultry farm called Poulets Bamy. Hayot expanded into motor rental and retail, eventually entering the rum trade by acquiring the Habitation Clément in 1986.
Today the GBH brands still include Clément as well as fellow Martinique product, the Rhum J.M and its Fonds-Préville distillery. In 2016 it acquired Saint Lucia Distillers, adding Chairman's Reserve, Admiral Rodney and others to its portfolio.
