Saint Vincent Distillers Ltd

Saint Vincent Distillers Ltd, also known as SVDL, is a distillery company in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It was established in 1963 by the national government in order to acquire the rum distillery on the former sugar estate at Mount Bentinck. The company remained nationalised until 1996 when it was sold to the local supermarket group, CK Greaves & Co.

Under private ownership the company was modernised along with its distillery and today boasts a portfolio of brands that include Captain Bligh, Mutineers Gold and Sunset.
