Destilerías Aldea is a rum distillery located on the Canary Island of La Palma. It was established by Carmelo Quevedo and his son, José Manuel Quevedo Hernández. The distillery is the second to produce Ron Aldea, with the original on Gran Canaria having closed in 1960 following a downturn in the sugar trade.

Unlike other distillers in the Canary islands, the distillery uses fresh cane juice rather than molasses, and it is particularly notable for its continued use of a wood-fired column still made in 1893 by the French manufacturer, Egrott.

Ron Aldea is a historic rum brand, first produced in 1936 when Don Manuel Quevedo Alemán built the original distillery in Aldea de San Nicolás de Tolentino on Gran Canaria. Don Manuel Quevedo’s prior experience working in the sugar industry fixed his mind upon using fresh cane juice to distil is rum, rather than molasses, a practice that continues at the new Destilerías Aldea on La Palma.

The brand's core range comprises its Blanco, Dorrado and 8 Barricas, supported by limited editions that include single cane and single estate rums, and vintage releases in its Maestro and Familia series.
