The youngest instalment in the 100% Trinidad Rum quartet from Velier. Distilled in 2000, this is a vatting of HTR style rums produced on the Indian mash column still and was bottled in Scotland at Benriach distillery in 2012.
A historic rum distillery that was once owned by British sugar merchant, Tate & Lyle, before being nationalised by the Trinidadian government in the 1970s. It eventually closed in 2003 and the last of the distillery's stock and its brand name were acquired by Italian distributor, Velier.

An Italian importer and distributor founded in Genoa in 1947. Under the ownership of Luca Gargano since 1986, it has become one of the most important companies in the world rum. It represents a huge array of brands in Europe as well as marketing a number of its own.
A quartet of Caroni bottlings from Velier SpA, produced outside of and in greater quantities than its famous numbered series of bottlings. Releases between 2012 and 2017, there are four age statements in the series (12-, 15-, 17- and 21-year-old) as well as a rare magnum sized bottling from 2015.
