The Courcelles distillery closed in 1964, with its alembic pot still moved to the Distillerie Sainte Marthe, which in turn was closed in 1974. The barrels were then long-forgotten until being discovered in 1998 and moved to the Poisson distillery in Marie-Galante. They have since been bottled by a select few companies, and these releases are increasingly sought after.
A former sugar factory and distillery that operated in Guadeloupe until its closure in 1974. It is notable in the rum world for its rehoming of the pot still from Domaine de Courcelles, which it used to produce a legendary batch of 1972 vintage rhum de sucrerie.
A long lost rum distillery in Guadeloupe that operated as part of the Courcelles sugar factory. It began producing rum in 1931 and did so until 1964, after which its pot still was moved to Sainte-Marthe. It is the latter from which most Domaine de Courcelles rum has been bottled.
A Guadeloupe-based import and distribution company that forms part of the extensive rum holdings of the Brot family, alongside the Poisson distillery and Père Labat brand. It is notable for producing several bottlings of the famous 1972 vintage Domaine de Courcelles rum.
