The oldest operating distillery in Cuba. It was originally built in 1862 by Don Facundo Bacardí Massó and is the historic home of the Bacardi brand. It was seized Fidel Castro's government in 1960 and today is part of the portfolio of the state-owned Corporación Cuba Ron SA.
One of the best-selling Caribbean rum brands in the world, introduced in Cuba in 1934 by José Arechabala SA. Today the brand is owned by Havana Club International SA, a partnership between Pernod Ricard and Corporación Cuba Ron who produce it at their San José and Santa Cruz distilleries.
A company established in 1993 as a 50: venture between the French multinational, Pernod Ricard, and the Cuban government's Corporación Cuba Ron SA. For their share, the latter is responsible for producing and bottling rum for the Havana Club brand, while the former deals with its distribution.
