The only remaining rum distillery in Guyana and the producer of the El Dorado brand. Currently owned and operated by Demerara Distillers Ltd, the distillery is home to a number of the country's famous heritage stills, several of which are constructed out of wood.
Lemon Hart & Son
A historic rum brand that traces its origins back to 1804 when it was devised by Lehman Hart. It was produced through the 18th and 19th centuries by Lemon Hart & Son before eventually being acquired in 2010 by the Canadian drinks company, Mosaiq.
Mosaiq Vins & Spiritueux
A Canadian drinks company founded in 1998. It imports and distributes a number of wine and spirits brands, including owning its own. The most notable rum within its own catalogue is the Lemon Hart label which it acquired from Pernod Ricard in 2010.
