Old Manada is a historic rum brand founded in Marseille and first offered for sale in 1897. Upon its launch, the brand saw quick success, winning the Grand Prix at the National Colonial Exhibition in Marseille in 1906. References and imagery depicting Old Manada persist into the mid 20th century, with additional awards being given at the 1928 Colonial Exhibition in Athens and the 1931 International Colonial Exhibition in Paris.

Historically, the rum was primarily produced in Martinique, but aging and finishing were carried out in Marseille, making it unable to claim the AOC classification. The brand was recently revived by Maison Ferroni, who continue to produce it in the same tradition. New bottles still bear the classic depiction of a cat on the label, much the same as the earliest bottlings from the 19th century.
