A 10 year old rum from Worthy Park estate in Jamaica, this was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2016 by La Maison du Whisky from 3 bourbon barrels.
This was 24% aged in continental weather, which allows for a slower maturation than in tropical climates.
A Jamaican rum distillery located within the Worthy Park Estate. The area has a long history of rum production, however the current distillery opened in 2007. It is notable for being entirely self-sufficient in molasses, and its brands include Worthy Park and Rum Bar.
A collection of independently bottled rums, first introduced by La Maison du Whisky in 2016. The series focusses on rums that have been aged both tropically and continentally, itemising the duration each rum has spent in both locations on its labels.
A French company also known by the acronym, LMDW, founded in 1956 by Georges Benitah. It is now one of the largest spirits importers and distributors in Europe. Its has significant rum interests though its LM&V partnership with Velier in Italy and also produces several of its own brands.
