Rhum Charrette

Rhum Charrette is an important brand of Réunion rum, introduced in 1976 by GIE Rhums Réunion, an economic interest group founded by the island's rum companies in response to the French tax authorities' intentions to abolish the bulk sales system. Today the brand is still marketed by the same company, which is ultimately co-owned by original founder, Société Adrien Bellier, along with Picard Vins et Spiritueux and J. Chatel.

The rums are produced by blending spirit from the island's Rivière du Mât, Isautier and Savanna distilleries. Its core range includes a variety of rhum blanc and rhum vieux, alongside bottles punches and cocktails.
