Distillerie du Simon SAS

Distillerie du Simon SAS is a Martinique company and a subsidiary of the HOLMEX group. It was established by Yves Hayot in 1985 in order to manage production at the Simon distillery in Le François, which he had owned since 1967. It was organised under the HOLMEX umbrella following its absorption of predecessor, COMEX, in 2004.

The company is primarily engaged in contract distilling and provided spirit for a number of Martinique rum brands, including those of its sister company, HSE. It was also formerly the owner of the historic J. Bally label between 1986 and 1996 when it sold it to Rémy Cointreau.
