Albion AN 2004 El Dorado Rare Collection 14 Year Old
The close working relationship between Demerara Distillers Ltd and Luca Gargano’s Velier in the 2000s significantly raised the profile of the distillery’s various historic stills, prompting them to introduce this premium El Dorado Rare Collection range in 2016. The collection showcases small batch bottlings of its various cask marques, much as the esteemed Italian distributors had done in the decade prior.
This is an AN marque, traditionally associated with the Albion sugar estate but now produced on the versatile Savalle still at Diamond.

The only remaining rum distillery in Guyana and the producer of the El Dorado brand. Currently owned and operated by Demerara Distillers Ltd, the distillery is home to a number of the country's famous heritage stills, several of which are constructed out of wood.
El Dorado
The flagship rum brand of Demerara Distillers Ltd, who introduced it in 1992. The rums are produced at Diamond distillery, as well as previously at Uitvlugt and Enmore and are blends of a variety of different marques from a variety of different still types.

A rum company in Guyana, founded in 1983 through the merger of Guyana Distilleries Ltd and Diamond Liquors Ltd. Its flagship brand is the El Dorado label, which produces on a variety of still at Diamond. It also has subsidiary interests across the Caribbean and Europe.
