Caroni
A historic rum distillery that was once owned by British sugar merchant, Tate & Lyle, before being nationalised by the Trinidadian government in the 1970s. It eventually closed in 2003 and the last of the distillery's stock and its brand name were acquired by Italian distributor, Velier.
Origin R.
A brand of independently bottled single cask rums. Introduced in 2013, the label is exclusively available to clients of the QoQa online retailer in Switzerland and is one of several projects the company is engaged in to offer bespoke wine, beer and spirits to its users.
QoQa Services
A Swiss online retail platform. Founded in 2005, the company offers tailored deals to its users that include shopping and leisure as well as wine and spirits. In addition, it runs several programmes to offer bespoke products to its community, which include the Origin R rum brand.
