This was bottled as part as the Grands Millesimes series which totals 11 different expressions. Aged for almost 40 years, this impressive rum is presented by the legendary French crystal house, Baccarat.

Baccarat Crystal was founded in the commune of the same name in north-eastern France in 1764. The company was given permission to start the manufacture of window panes, mirrors and stemware by King Louis XV but it wasn't until 1816 when the first crystal oven was installed. For well over 250 years the company has become renowned for its high quality and craftsmanship.

A company established in 1974 by the owners of the Trois Rivières distillery in order to market its rum brand. It became part of the Martini & Rossi group in 1975, before being sold to Bellonnie & Bourdillon Successeurs in 1994. It is today ultimately a subsidiary of the Campari Group.
