HSE

HSE is a brand of premium rhum agricole from Martinique. It was introduced in 2005 and is named after the Habitation Saint Etienne estate and distillery which operated for over a hundred years before falling into decline in the 1980s. It was acquired by Yves Hayot who used it as an ageing facility, bottling its rum as HSE.

Despite owning the original distillery, it has never been recommissioned and the rum is produced for HSE by the Simon distillery which is part of the same group. The brand's range is extensive and includes both rhum blanc and rhum agrcicole expressions at VS, VSOP and XO level, as regular limited editions releases of vintage, cask-finished and single cask rums.
