Angostura 1824 12 Year Old
This is an older version of the Angostura 1824, the brand's flagship 12-year-old expression which takes it name from the year that Dr. Siegert created Angostura bitters.
This version of the release was bottled between 2011 and 2016 when a new bottle shape was introduced.
Trinidad Distillers
The only remaining rum distillery in Trinidad, established in 1949 as the production facility for the Angostura rum and bitters brands. Its parent company also distils a number of other brands at the facility as well as producing bulk rum for export.
Angostura
A historic brand of rum and aromatic bitters, created by Dr. Johann Siegert in 1824 and produced in Trinidad since 1875. The rum brand is distilled from molasses at Trinidad Distillers Ltd and is available in a number of age statements, as well as the premium 1824 and 1919 expressions.
House of Angostura
A company based in Trinidad & Tobago that is officially known as Angostura Ltd. Hugely significant, it markets both the Angostura brand of rums and bitters, as well as historic Trinidad labels acquired from Fernandes Distillers in 1973.
