A large rum distillery in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It was built in 1935 by what is now Destilería Serrallés Inc and is the production home for its flagship Don Q brand. The distillery produces light and heavy molasses rums on a variety of stills that include a beer column built in 1934 by Vendome.
Don Q
A brand of Puerto Rican rum, first launched in 1934. It is produced by Destilería Serrallés Inc at its distillery in Ponce and is named after the Miguel de Cervantes character, Don Quixote. The brand is a blend of light and heavy molasses rum, available in a range of expressions.

The oldest family-owned company in Puerto Rico, also known as Grupo Serrallés. It has interests in a number of industries that include hotels, golf courses and solar energy. Its original and primary business is rum production however, and its flagship brand, Don Q, was introduced in 1934.
