The only remaining rum distillery in Guyana and the producer of the El Dorado brand. Currently owned and operated by Demerara Distillers Ltd, the distillery is home to a number of the country's famous heritage stills, several of which are constructed out of wood.
Hamilton
A brand of independently bottled single distillery and blended rums from Caribbean Spirits Inc. The label is name after company founder, Edward Hamilton, and are co-branded as The Ministry of Rum Collection to tie-in with his popular website.
Caribbean Spirits
An American importer and distributor, founded in 2003 by Edward Hamilton. The company has acted as the US agent for brands such as Neisson and Duquesne, however also produces and promotes its own brand of rums under the Hamilton name.
