Black Gate is an Australian distillery located in the town of Mendooran in New South Wales, Australia. It was founded in 2009 by husband-and-wife team, Brian and Genise Hollingworth, with the former in charge of whisky distilling and the latter dedicated to production of rum.

The distillery operates direct-fired pot stills with an annual capacity of 4,000 litres per year, a quarter of which is its refinery molasses-based rum.

The Black Gate brand name is used to market both the distillery's single malt whisky and its rum. The latter was the first of the two spirits it produced, and its debut rum bottling was released in 2014.

The brand currently has no proprietary offering, tending to be focussed on small batch and single cask releases. They are labelled as dark rums and are cask-aged in a variety of different wood styles, often using locally sourced ex-port and wine barrels.
