Grays Distilling

Grays Distilling is the rum distillery operation of the Terra Mauricia Ltd group. It was built in 1980 and a purpose-built replacement to the Mauritius OK distillery that the company had been using since 1931. The distillery harvests its cane from its parent company’s estate, beginning in June each year, and ferments its molasses for 36 hours. The wash is then distilled on a 52-plate column still and laid down in French Limousin oak for ageing.

Among the rum brands produced at Grays Distilling are Seven Seas and its premium New Grove label.
