Long Pond 18 Year Old Plantation The Collector No.1

An 18 year old single blended rum from the Long Pond distillery in Jamaica. This was bottled by Plantation Rum, the brand owned by cognac producer, Masion Ferrand and proprietors of the West India Rum Distillery in Barbados.

This is a vatting of 1996 and 2000 vintage rums, from the John Dore pot still and the now silent Blair column still. It was tropically aged for 17 years in bourbon wood before a final year of continental ageing in a Ferrand cask.

This is Edition 1 of The Collector series, which aims to recreate the flavour profiles of some of the favourite rums in the collection of Steve Remsberg.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
