A historic rum distillery that was once owned by British sugar merchant, Tate & Lyle, before being nationalised by the Trinidadian government in the 1970s. It eventually closed in 2003 and the last of the distillery's stock and its brand name were acquired by Italian distributor, Velier.
The brand name used by Belgian independent bottler, Asta Morris, to bottle single casks of rum. The inaugural Rasta Morris releases debuted in 2018 and included impressive vintages from Caroni, Foursquare and Uitvlugt distilleries, among others.
A small independent bottling company based in Belgium. Founded in 2009 by Bert Bruyneel, its first bottlings rums were released under the Rasta Morris label in 2018. The company also has two proprietary rum products called The Tipsy Turtle and Maman Brigitte.
