The current production home of the historic Saint-James brand of Martinique rum. It was opened in 1973 under the ownership of Cointreau & Cie SA. Today the distillery is owned by La Martinquaise and also produces rum for the J. Bally brand.
A historic brand of Martinique rum, first distilled and bottled at the Habitation Lajus in Carbet. It was founded by Jacques Bally who designed its iconic pyramide and carré bottles in the 1930s. It is today owned by COFEPP through its La Martinqaise division and distilled at Saint James.
A French company also known by the acronym, LMDW, founded in 1956 by Georges Benitah. It is now one of the largest spirits importers and distributors in Europe. Its has significant rum interests though its LM&V partnership with Velier in Italy and also produces several of its own brands.
